Volkswagen explained allegations produced versus it by Acer have been unfounded, following a magazine noted that the Taiwanese computer maker experienced sued the German carmaker for infringing on its cell community patents.

German weekly WirtschaftsWoche experienced noted earlier on Tuesday that Acer experienced filed a match in the US condition of Virginia, alleging that Volkswagen experienced only paid out for licences for 2G and 3G patents, but experienced mostly put in cell cell phone chips with 4G technology in the past two years.

“We will take a look at the match jointly with our suppliers and will then make your mind up how to move forward,” Volkswagen instructed Reuters.

“At first look we have indications that the allegations and accusations produced in it are unfounded and we will defend our posture,” it added, although declining to provide even further information.
