The winners have been introduced in the Snow Statue Levels of competition at Michigan Technological
University’s Winter season Carnival. This year’s topic is “Discover What Shines from Prehistoric
Moments.”
For the third time in the earlier four several years, Phi Kappa Tau was the all round winner of
the thirty day period-long snow statue competitors. Their statue “Dongson Fishing Village” is
found outdoors of the fraternity property in Hancock.
There have been three divisions in the thirty day period-extended competition—men, women of all ages and co-ed. Prizes
have been awarded to the prime three statues in each division. The prime three scores amid
all the statues have been positioned in the all round thirty day period-extended category.
Next spot in the all round division went to Tau Kappa Epsilon for their statue entitled
“Stone Age.” 3rd spot went to the co-ed team of Sigma Tau Gamma and Alpha Gamma
Delta for “Wooly Mammoth Surrounded by Saber Tooth Tigers.”
Phi Kappa Tau and Tau Kappa Epsilon positioned one particular-two respectively in the Men’s Division.
3rd spot was Delta Sigma Phi for “Dinosaurs.”
The Sigma Tau Gamma and Alpha Gamma Delta team captured very first spot in the Co-Ed Division,
followed by Sigma Phi Epsilon and Delta Phi Epsilon for “Caveman About a Fire with
Applications, Crafts and Cave Paintings,” although third spot went to Delta Zeta and Triangle
for “Ice Age.”
Alpha Sigma Tau was the lone entry in the Women’s Division with “Jurassic Park.”
In the all-nighter statue competitors, St. Albert the Great University Parish captured
their fourth-straight all round victory as well as successful the Co-ed Division. Next
spot all round and in Co-ed went to Pavlis Honors School for “Dig Web site of Dinosaur
Bones.” Lutheran Campus Ministry ELCA took third spot in equally divisions with “The
Golden Ratio.”
In the Men’s Division, the Culture of American Foresters took very first spot with “Lake
Sturgeon,” followed by the Culture of African American Guys for “Dino Egg,” and Mama’s
Boys (East McNair 4th Flooring) completed third with “Dig Web site”.
The Culture of Females Engineers won the Women’s Division category for the statue “Cave”.
