Google Docs Draftback to See Typing History

When pupils are applying Google Docs you can use the Draftback Chrome extension to assessment their edits on the document like a motion picture. You can use this to see student development or to detect plagiarism in Google Docs.

Watch college student edits like a movie.

Draftback is a Chrome extension. It does NOT accumulate user info. On the other hand, it may be blocked by your Google Workspace Applications Admin. Be sure to contact them to have it unblocked considering the fact that in many cases extensions are blocked by default by your college.

Working with Draftback

After putting in the Draftback Chrome extension you will see a button in the higher ideal of the document indicating how quite a few revisions there are. Simply click on the revision to see a video of what appears like the scholar typing the doc.

Detect Plagiarism in Google Docs

If you suspect a student of plagiarizing you can use Draftback to see if they pasted a huge volume of text at once. Observe in the animation earlier mentioned that it exhibits typing character by character.

If you are a Google Classroom user you can also use the plagiarism resource. It only functions on Google Docs, as does Draftback.
